Smear Clinic -  **The times of our drop in smear clinics are changing**

There will no longer be a clinic on a Friday morning this will be changing to a Thursday afternoon.

New times are as follows;

Tuesdays 11:30 - 12:20

Thursday 15:30 - 16:20

Privacy notice -If you have an email address, you will have had lots of messages from companies telling you about their privacy policy. As you probably know it's all to do with the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) coming into force 25th May 2018.

We hold data about our patients and staff too, and we have a privacy policy too!

There is a copy of our privacy notice on our website under 'Practice Policies', and we have posters displayed in our waiting areas.

test_vials2Bloods tests are sometimes required to help monitor and diagnose health problems.  Phlebotomists (healthcare assistants trained in taking blood) visit the surgery on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

A GP/Nurse will provide you with a blood form if you need a blood test.

District Nurses

These nurses are employed by the health authority but work closely with the Practice.  They provide nursing services to patients in their own home. Your local community nurses can be contacted either through reception or on telephone number 029 2044 4501 (24 hrs)

Antenatal Clinic 

Helen Nicholas is the practice community midwife.  She works alongside the doctors providing healthcare to pregnant women.  Her antenatal clinics run on Thursdays, and she holds a booking clinic on Friday mornings.

The practice health visitor, Lizzie Thompson, holds baby clinics on a Wednesday morning.  Please speak to a receptionist-appointments can be booked from the Monday of that week.
